Here you’ll find our home education ‘photo of the day‘ where I share learning experiences that didn’t make it into a blog post!
(from newest to oldest)
We are loving our Kinetic Sand!
Cameron is loving playing with secondary colours. We used our Spielgaben yarn balls to make an impromptu activity!
Loving our human x-rays for dramatic play and learning on our light table!
I love observing the differences in how they explore/play/learn. Lucy loves mess and chaos, and watching her brother. Cameron loves to build and create. He is purposeful and observes himself in the mirror.
Simple colour mixing (water) to start the day
The kids (and I!) love making our own play dough and playing with it while it’s warm :)
Playtime at the park. We love New Farm park, even though it’s a bit of a drive for us!
After the success of our backyard science lab, Cam and Lucy are loving repeating simple science experiments!
Our lima beans tacked to the window with a diagram of a bean plant seedling.
We love homeschool co-op experiences (like this one) that we can continue learning from!
See more of this plant group activity at our homeschool co-op classes page here.
Homemade glitter glue (used Paging Fun Mums awesome DIY recipe) and cotton balls
Fun matching with our musical instruments toob (affiliate link)
Cam loves his Clip Circuits (affiliate link)
Our shelves after a rotation. See more of our learning spaces here.
Fire number puzzle (printable from Homeschool Creations)
Cam loves these number puzzles because he can read numbers (0-10) and complete this independently.
